Matthew L. Feshbach is Founder and Chairman of MLF Investments, an investment company based in Belleair Bluffs, Florida and founded in 2001. The objective of the Fund is to achieve substantial capital appreciation primarily by taking concentrated positions in publicly-held companies where the Partnership believes it can add value. From 1991 to 2001, Mr. Feshbach had primarily been a private investor. Prior to becoming an “activist-investor,” which he is today, Matthew Feshbach co-founded Feshbach Brothers and was the Managing General Partner from 1983 to 1996. Feshbach Brothers pioneered the first “short-only” hedge fund from 1983 to 1990. Southgate Partners, its flagship investment partnership, provided compounded returns to investors in excess of 36% per year and grew the assets under management from twenty thousand to one billion dollars. From 1971 to 1983 Mr. Feshbach was a tennis instructor in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is married and has three children.
