Phil is a Managing Director within Bear Stearns’ Global Power & Utilities group and has more than 15 years experience within the investment banking and financial services industry. His primary focus has been on M&A advisory and capital raising for energy and power companies. His transaction experience includes:

  • The sale of RJR Nabisco’s Del Monte Foods Division to a Merrill Lynch Investor Group
  • The combination of Snyder Oil’s Wattenberg Field Assets With Gerrity Oil and Gas to form Patina Oil & Gas Corporation
  • The sale of Snyder Oil’s Wattenberg Gathering System to Associated Natural Gas
  • The sale of Union Pacific Resources’ gas gathering business to Duke Energy
  • The sale of Tejas Power Corporation to El Paso Corporation
  • The sale of North Carolina Natural Gas to Carolina Power & Light

Phil received his MBA for The Wharton School in 1990. He also received a BS (cum laude) in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 1985.
