Glenn Dubin is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Highbridge Capital Management, LLC, an alternative asset management company formed in 1992. Since its inception, Mr. Dubin and his partner Henry Swieca, have grown Highbridge into a leading global multi-strategy hedge fund organization with over 360 staff members, including 120 investment, trading and technology professionals in offices in New York, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong and San Francisco. Current assets under management at Highbridge are approximately $30 billion making Highbridge one of the world's largest alternative asset management institutions. Highbridge's investors include many of the most highly rated global financial institutions, corporate pension funds, university endowments and family offices. Mr. Dubin also serves as the co-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Louis Dreyfus Highbridge Energy LLC, an integrated merchant energy business and portfolio company of Highbridge.
Prior to forming Highbridge in 1992, Mr. Dubin and Mr. Swieca started Dubin & Swieca Asset Management, LLC, an asset management company specializing in alternative investment strategies. Dubin & Swieca is recognized as being one of the pioneers in advocating and employing multi-manager hedge fund portfolios guided by the principles of Modern Portfolio Theory.
Mr. Dubin is a founding board member and former Board Chair of The Robin Hood Foundation. Since its inception in 1988, Robin Hood has made over $500 million in grants to the most effective poverty fighting organizations in New York City by applying investment principles to charitable giving. Mr. Dubin is also a Trustee of Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He received a B.A. in Economics at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1978. He is married to Dr. Eva Andersson-Dubin, M.D. and they have three children.
